Obitsu 03 heads

Hmm…… I JUST realize that I don’t have any Obitsu 03 lady for myself :-(!!!!! Hmm….. got to buy one later on…….after I finished 5 ladies (1 is “growing(rooting)” hair), 2 yound girls (both need to root hair), and 4 males (2 of them need to root hair)………… With the less time spending on dolls now, I guess………. estimated time will be next year.

I am Back !! ^__^

The trip to SF is ….. boring most of the time, because….. it was RAINING almost ALL WEEK!!! >-(

One thing I got out from this trip is:

🙂 I am going to spend more time on my daughters, my family and less time on dolls, forums, and others. 🙂 Yeah…. I guess life is more than dolls. Even though I love making and collecting dolls very much, I am NOT going to let them take over my life. They will forever be my Hobby only. When my family needs me, I should be there for them, not making dolls.

Reason:

I was without dolls, doll-making materials, doll-related magazines, internet to look at ebay dollfie/fashion dolls/Taraka doll auctions/ yahoo japan auctions/ lunar ark/junkyspot/denofangels/ etc etc etc… for one whole week and……

I FELT FINE!! Felt really really relaxed, and enjoyed being with family and relatives.

Happy. 🙂

Another impulsive purchase

Just purchased two Azone 05 blank heads, two 23 cm Obitsu girl bodies, and two 22cm kimonos from miniorient.  Guess I am going to make two cute girls in kimono!! 🙂  I don't have any shoes for them…. 😦

I am becoming a silence member….

of both the Junky Spot Forum and Lunar Ark forum and Den of Angels Forum.

I tried to stay active on the above forums, but somehow I feel like I am forcing myself to do so in the past. Not that I don't enjoy the forums. I actually enjoy them very much. I am just a very quiet person, even among my closest friends. Don't like to say a lot (because I know somehow I would say something wrong :-() Also, not a native english speaking/writing person sometimes makes it hard to express myself CORRECTLY. Sometimes when I write something, the readers would take it differently , and think I mean something else…. , and ended up hurting feelings. 😦 Also, a lot of times, I just don't want to say "oh she is gorgeous!""He is handsome""Beautiful faces!!!" etc etc etc etc. But other than these, I really don't know what to say. 😦 So… I have decided to mainly just enjoy reading the posts. (The correct term should be "lurking" ;-))

Still have lots of dolls that I want to try:

— Volks EB-N young men

— Tan Volks girl (Neo-EB female body and head)

— Azone 05 girl heads on 23 cm Obitsu bodies (cute girlies)

— Volks Customized Figure (….I am not really into Figures, but they are definitely very cute. If they have long hair white hair/ black hair boys later on, I will definitely get them to make Inuyasha!! :-))

— Azone 04 head seems to be pretty pretty!

— Volks C heads : want to make Kana! 🙂

I guess my wishlist will keep on growing…..and currently that's it.

VACATION!! YEEPHEE!!!!

Vacation this coming Saturaday!! 🙂
*cough**cough* ….. not really a vacation, just going back to San Francisco to visit my mother-in-law, tons of relatives from my husband's side, and maybe some old friends of ours from college.

It's going to be rainy in SF next week, and cold, and cold, and cold. Would probably have some dinner commitments for friends and relatives. 😦 Just hope my younger one (almost 3 years old) would behave better (very highly unlikely)…..

*think**think*…. I have three Neo-Go 03 heads still waiting to be painted…..have one Neo-Go 02 head to be painted…have one slim male head waiting to be painted…….have 5-6 Obitsu female heads to be painted…..have one obitsu head to root and painted….

Obitsu EyeHoles Head — review

Yep.. Got them last Friday ^___^

Just a couple of things for these eyehole heads:

1. they are made of vinyl. Thicker and harder than regular Obitsu heads. So, MSC probably won't be a good idea on them. I just use regular matt varnish and gloss varnish to seal them.
2. Eye pockets inside made it harder to change eyes and insert eyes (broke eyes very easily, so be really careful). But the eyes fit in very securely and easy to change position of eyes. Very nice if you don't like or don't have eye putty.
3. Obitsu heads are smaller than Dollfie Plus (and other optional heads). So, size 4 wigs are too big. Volks Dollfie Plus wigs are also too big. I purchased some size 3 wigs and hopefully they will fit. Not many size 3 wigs are out there in cyber world, and not many choices of color and style. T___T
4. Like the Obitsu eyes. Bright colors and pretty colors also. Personally like them better than Volks acrylic eyes. Too bad they don't have special colors like red or pink or gold, which Volks acrylic eyes have.
5. Finally,… I like Volks's scuplt better, especially the 05 optional head.  03 and 04 are also nice too.  

Overall they are pretty nice. For $5 a head, they are well-priced. I prefer Volks Optional heads (03 and 05 are my favorites). If I have to purchase any more of these eyehole heads in the future, I probably would go for Volks. But it is just my own very personal preferences. (please don't kill me….. it's so dangerous now to voice one's opinion on theinternet nowadays….. O-O)
